Part of me thinks the mother might have bought a cheaper ticket for her daughter, so she can save money by guilt tripping a higher paying passenger in sitting where her daughter was going to sit.
I would be willing to switch if the reason is medically related or if the airline was willing to refund me my difference and it wasn’t too long a flight.
That is a bingo! I have read and seen more than a few accounts of ultra leftist millionaires demanding free items, taking extra home from buffets, stealing soaps from hotels and on and on, even though they have tons of money to just buy these items.
Leftists have an extreme sense of entitlement and I would not put it past a leftist mother to buy a coach ticket and try to guilt someone out of a first class seat.
