When I saw the headline, I honestly thought it was from the Babylon Bee. Never have seen Discovery, and now I never will.

The Left has little to no talent for creativity. To be creative, one needs to be independent, which goes against their Borg mentality.
However, like the Borg, they are excellent and destroying what creative minds did create.
Whether it’s Star Trek, Star Wars, the new Wonder Years reboot, etc, etc. etc., it’s about all they can do - destroy.
ABC just tried a Hispanic de facto version of “Falcon Crest”, which bombed so badly they yanked it off before they finished airing the completed eps (”Promised Land”). Even Bellamy Young couldn’t save it.

Apparently there’s a Dynasty reboot as well? Every time I turn around an old show seems to be back on the air, but in a repurposed form.
Yeah, though I’ve never watched it. It’s already in its fifth season. A cursory glance at the Wikipedia page and aside from changes of the racial casting makeup, it looks to be mostly a complete re-enactment of the original show.
As DJ pointed out it’s on a while.
I watched maybe 3 or 4 eps before I quit.
I did watch the first 2 seasons of “Discovery”, no plans to ever watch season 3. Picard, 3 or 4 eps and quit. I might check out “Strange New Worlds” but the dude that plays Spock is so bad he makes Zackary Queerto seems great.
There is also gonna be a DRAMATIC “Fresh Prince” reboot called “Bel-Air”.
