There are many troubling aspects to the COVID vaccines and the growing mandates for them. Here I'd like to focus on one that is rarely discussed.
To begin with, when these unapproved vaccines were first made available to the public on an emergency basis, many people rushed headlong to get one. They were in a near panic. I saw this myself. This was due, to a large extent, to the panic whipped up in the mainstream media. The COVID virus was reported to be deadly. Its death toll (which we now know was highly inflated) was used to induce fear. Then the early adapters relied completely on pronouncements from the vaccine manufacturers and health authorities like Dr. Anthony Fauci and the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC). Trust the science, it was said. The vaccines were both effective and safe.
Unfortunately, the population (and their primary care physicians) were denied the opportunity to hear alternative opinions on these novel vaccines from credible immunologists and other scientists. All views contrary to the official party line were squelched by the media and censored on social media. Thus, the decision to take a COVID vaccine early on was, at best, based on the word of the experts or, at worse, the emotion of fear.
As time moved on, however, alternative opinions and facts on the vaccines began escaping from the media bubble and from under the censorship of Big Tech. This new information included evidence showing that 1) the vaccines are not nearly as effective as advertised; 2) the survival rate from COVID is over 99 percent; and 3) a troubling number of people have experienced serious side effects, up to and including death.

These vaccines are a big nothing burger. 99.994% have reported no serious adverse effects.
I have no opinion on if these vaccines are really effective or necessary. All I can say based on actual data, the vaccines area big nothing burger for adverse effects. The 1/2 CC of clear liquid injected in my arm in Feb & March has had less adverse effects than a mosquito bite, on me, my spouse, and other 5 family members.

Let’s see how time changes your opinion. My bosses vaxed son started tripping, off balance, then words were hard to pronounce. The jab effects started on day one with “ something not right”, four months later, 4 doctors later, he was hospitalized. The fifth doctor has confirmed neurological problems, extremely hard to narrow down. You can get back with us in a few years. That said, I never wore a mask , carried on normal for a year and a half, now finally caught the Covid flu- touchee! I am glad I did! I have real immunity, and don’t have to worry months and years down the road about very hard to detect neurological illnesses. Take my advice from one who has the Covid flu- it is nothing more than the flu….and at 62 ( I suspect you are a youngster) I saw through this hoax from day one.
Not yet, no I’ll after effects. Ask me in a few months. Right now I am not interested in the booster unless something changes. My husband is undergoing cancer treatments and I am sure they will be pushing the booster on him as soon as it’s out. The announcements is all over the treatment center.
As time wears on, it can only get worse for them. Their immunity will weaken as the virus evolves, and any potential long term side effects will become obvious. They won’t admit it, but they’ll be sorry.
And don’t forget to go get your boosters for the rest of your life….

Good of you to post a common sense based opinion. I am sure majority of FReepers have enough sense to get vaccinated. And likewise for Trump voters. How else would the number of Americands jabbed approach THREE TIMES BIGGER than votes either Trump or Biden received.
But there is a minority gang of anti-vaxxers here who ping each other on every vaccine related thread and descend on the thread like locust.
