So I work for my local county (Upstate NY) and the new county administrator put out the edict as of tomorrow, if you are "fully vaccinated" (TM) then you don't have to wear a mask. All others do need to wear a mask on the job and social distance. Violators will be "disciplined"

2 weeks ago, they ordered all of our dept. to stop working remotely and get back in the office. Of course the leftists amongst us started whining.
I’m thinking to cure this is to edict that all those who have not been vaxxed need to work remotely full time.
One of my more leftist millennial co workers is upset about this latest edict because his mother died from a blood clot so he does not want the Vax nor have to wear a mask.

My employer, also in NY, told us yesterday that we must wear a mask unless we can show we’ve been fully vaccinated. Obviously their lawyers figured it out.

Legal challenges are expensive, and most people can’t reasonably undertake something like that on their own, let alone have to deal with possible retaliation from the powers that be.
Perhaps there’s a political angle.
In any event, finding other employees with similar concerns would certainly boost your ability to object. This past year has effectively isolated people, and single individuals are easy to coerce. Harder to push around if you’re organized.

My workplace has mask rules in place. Some of them are silly. Guess what I do. I follow them. It isn't that big of a deal. I can't believe all the people here advising to lie or commit fraud by obtaining false vax cards. Nice conservative principals.
