If we still had a functional rule-of-law I suppose this case would be reversed on appeal and a new trial ordered. Or possibly a conviction would vacated along with all charges. It was a very weak case for starters, and the courts have been subjected to outrageous threats and intimidation.

We will know by Wednesday which path we have into the future with this. I want a straight-up acquittal. Perhaps that is wee a bit optimistic.
