California Rep. Maxine Waters’ big mouth may have just handed former police officer Derek Chauvin a proverbial get-out-of-jail free card.

After the prosecution and defense gave their closing arguments in the case on the death of George Floyd, the judge in the case said that Rep. Waters comments made this weekend could be cause for an appeal if Chauvin is convicted.

Waters should be immediately arrested for jury tampering! When a US Congressperson says that protests should continue if Chauvin is found not guilty! That is an attempt to bribe that jury!!!

Judge should have had the trial under control.

IF it's good enough for an appeal....it's good enough for a mistrial.

IF the judge were smart he'd cite Mad Max as the reason for the mistrial along with Pelozi's comments today.

Well he is a democrat and did work for Amy Klobuchar, so we can’t expect too much. The trial should have been moved to another location and if not that, a sequestered jury. So, when they come back with a guilty verdict, Chauvin will have no option but an appeal, of course, he will remain in prison and his expenses will triple. He is done, no matter what.

Waters doesn't care whether Chauvin is convicted or not.

Race-baiting is an end unto itself.

They will riot and burn. Either from anger or from glee.

That makes sense to me. But will the judge be brave enough to do it, for if he does he will surely be attacked by the BLM/Antifa mob that rules the streets of Minneapolis?

Why the judge never sequestered the jury is beyond me.

That’s a mistrial in and of itself.

I think that’s what the locals want.

A guilty verdict that us later overturned on appeal.

Sometimes, one just has to stand up and be a man - or choose between regret and lies for the rest of your life.

She’s a Democrat. Nothing will happen to her. They’re allowed to riot, loot, incite violence, and destroy property. Laws do not apply to them.

He is a Democrat who worked for Amy Klobuchar before being appointed to the bench. He is in on the hanging of the officer or he would have called a mistrial days ago.

Should have been immediate mistrial. Jury not sequestered. This is an outright sham trial.

The best thing that could happen for the country is for this jury to come back with not guilty on all counts. The jury could make a clear statement, we the people will not be intimidated by the left. Then Maxine can be arrested for citing violence and insurrection for the violence that is sure to occur. That being said I think the fix is in. Guilty on all counts but the appeal now set in stone by Waters will have this officer walk on all charges.

I think that the judge’s statement will be taken as a recommendation and justification for just such an appeal. So, which higher court to appeal to? Does it matter? No doubt, by that time, most of the victim cities of the next “Summer of Love” will be smoldering craters. Still, it is something...
