Coke Changes Their Tune After Intense Backlash
Wayne Dupree Media ^ | April 14 , 2021 | Missy Crane

Coke got woke, and now they’re gonna go broke.

I don’t know why these companies literally can’t stop themselves from jumping into social and political issues. It’s like, you make fizzy sugar water, shut up.

But much like sports and Hollywood, these progressive corporate commies just can’t stop themselves from giving their unsolicited two cents.

Everyone’s a friggen activist nowadays.

And it’s not like going “woke” is this super-profitable gig for most companies and sports franchises.  Hollywood is quite literally circling the drain as we speak – there are more people in my living room right now than actual viewers who watch their narcissistic awards shows, and the ratings for sports are on their second flush as well.

So, getting all SJW and political isn’t a smart gig when the vast majority of the country is sitting back looking at this circus unfold and thinking everyone involved has some type of personality disorder or emotional imbalance.

Even so, companies like Coke and Apple, and about a bazillion others, decided to chime in on the new voter integrity laws in Georgia…A bunch of soft drink executives, who didn’t read the bill, hop on the wave of outrage in order to score some quick progressive brownie points, not realizing the wave won’t last – it’s gonna hit the shore and crash within days, and they’ll be left standing there with a brand that’s destroyed and customers who are pissed.

“I’ve made it a hobby to make darn sure these misfits who own these leftist, Communist supporting corporations, get little or no money from me.”

It can be a fun way to save money, when you make these left wing corporations a hobby to avoid allowing them to make money on us.

“Republicans buy shoes, too.” - Michael Jordan

He had it wrong. Republicans buy shoes - rats steal them.

Coke CEO James Quincey sure liked going to the Masters Golf tournament in Augusta Georgia. When James Quincey decided to criticize the Georgia law requiring ID in order to vote, he was not speaking as a private citizen but as a corporate executive.
At the urging of the Coke and Delta CEO’s , Stacey Abrams, Sen. Warnock and Joe Biden, Major League Baseball pulled the all star game from Atlanta. Turnaround is fair play.

Far too little, far too late. They lost this fanatically loyal customer of 45 years for life now.

Pepsi is also out of the question since they’re just as bad.

Oh well, I’ll finally stop drinking nearly as many sodas as my sister the doc has been urging me to do for years.

Don’t care.

Saw their CEO on the tube last nite.

He can take a long walk off a short pier.

Big Old Reality Laugh:

You would think that the 85 million people that voted for Biden (!@#$%^&*) would be sucking down this product in such vast quantities that Coke would be enjoying record sales.

I had already stopped buying Diet Coke when they discontinued Diet Coke with Splenda.   I was a staunch believer in Coca-Cola all my life.   Growing up in North Georgia, there was a Coke machine just outside my second grade classroom door.   We all put in the nickel for that wonderful bottle of Coke at every recess, that is, when we had a nickel.   Coke was a contributor to my diabetes and I used to feel deep down that it was worth it for all of the good times and memories.

I was still willing to buy TAB from-time-to-time just for the throwback novelty, but never more as the Poe character said.

Was at the grocery store in my rather red county, two pallets of Coke at fire sale prices, unloading it quick while they still can.

Has anybody here posted a list of Coke products?

About four years ago, the HR dept at the company I worked for (before I retired) hosted a “Milk & Cookies Afternoon” event — in honor of the homo San Francisco supervisor who was murdered.

“[they] first infiltrate and establish themselves in Human Resources” is very true.

They are transitioning from acquiring profits for their shareholders to raw power for their board members...

Right.. The article did not state anything from Coke that disavows their previous commentary.
