There was the movie “Out to Sea”, with Walter Matthau.
“Where did you go to school?”
“Oh, it’s a little place called, ‘F.U.’!”
Jack Lemmon had this act worked out where he would come to the end of his rope, lose his temper, go completely ballistic, but under circumstances in which he couldn't raise his voice above a whisper, like in a church or a library. It happened in The Out Of Towners, and in at least one other picture. I loved them both.
