It turns out the suspected shooter wasn’t white. The suspect’s name is Ahmad Al Aliwi Alissa.

I wonder if he would magically turn white if he was instead a Syrian Christian?

One of my best friends’ families is of Lebanese/Syrian Christian origin. They came over more than 100 years ago. He considers himself and is considered by everyone else to be, White.

Christian or not, he is still a Syrian. There are hundreds of millions of black Christians in Africa, that doesn’t make them White.

What has “white” got to do with the man’s name? His name does not indicate his race and unless there has been some judicious photoshopping of all his pictures the fellow is WHITE. Racially he is white. Otherwise he is Syrian and moslem which is probably relevant to his deed. The store he attacked advertises kosher poducts.
