People *know* what they are buying when they reach for a box of Aunt Jemima products.
These products look like the store brands or some kind of discount/generic.
I bet this tanks the brand, because people will think it's a cheap knock-off.

Then there’s the ad Jeep decided to run this year. Titled ‘The Middle’, it showed zillionaire Bruce Springsteen climbing aboard a top- and doorless CJ-5 [turns out it’s his own personal CJ-5 —Ed.] and driving to a chapel physically located in the geographical centre of the United States.
We quit buying it when the announcement was made. Other brands are just as good or better.
It seems like a peculiar type of “ethnic cleansing.”
