"The Americans" was an excellent show. If you like the cloak and dagger stuff, and if you have Netflix, you might also enjoy, "Turn: Washington's Spies."
There's a little artistic license with the history, but IMHO, it establishes a feel for the tensions and sentiments of the colonies during the revolution.

The left feared Reagan because they swore he would start WWIII. The left fears Trump becuase he is fixing things the left said couldn’t be fixed, thereby exposing them as frauds to minorities.

They are much more worried about Donald Trump because they know now they can be defeated.
