I’m hearing a lot about RBG’s “legacy as a trailblazer” and similar. How well known was she before Clinton appointed her? Her entire fame is built around being the liberal justice most likely to die while Trump is President. In 2008, how many people even knew who she was?
Oh we knew her! Conservatives knew this election - and the 2016 election - was always about the Supreme Court selections.
I must confess though - I did NOT expect Trump’s economic successes, his foreign policy and Peace successes, and his military/infrastructure successes! I also did not expect the depth and depravity of the Deep State.
And, to remain honest, I was also taken in by Bush’s apparent conservatism when he ran in 2000.
