64% of the 100 largest cities in the US are run by Democrats versus 29% for Republicans. (https://ballotpedia.org/Party_affiliation_of_the_mayors_of_the_100_largest_cities). I think this reinforces the fact that blacks vote Democrat most of the time, but Democrats obviously aren’t helping to protect those people who put them in office.
