Decades?
It can happen in a matter of one or two elections.
Look at Virginia. Totally blue and no hopes of ever going back. Tighter gun restrictions by the day.
Spouse and I are considering moving to West Virginia. But what happens when they turn that blue?
Americans so far are not up to the task of restoring America to its former glory. We are too willing to give up and scramble for safer ground.
I figure it took 50 to 60 years to reach the incredible mess our cities are in (thanks LBJ). You are right that it is accelerating. That’s why I think the same horrible downward spiral will afflict smaller cities and towns but it will take 2 or 3 decades to reach the same nadir as our big cities. It is a gradual, but accelerating process.
You are right that two or three election cycles do a lot of damage. But how long will it take for small towns to become Mad Max wastelands?
There is no political will to preserve Western Civilization. The Germanic Tribes and visigoths are inside the walls everywhere.
