Somewhere along the line each of us gets tired of extremely picky FReepers who point out things such as “No, it was more in the 7th and 8th Federalist Papers where the subject really was decided” or
“He didn’t really prove that everything in the explicate universe was found within the implicate universe-—he only suggested that was true.”
It comes with the territory of being around so many intelligent and highly educated people, including from military and professional experience, in the FR community.
I added that stuff because someone would say “Hey, it’s spelled this way....”
Or, you could just ignore it.
I’m an uneducated deplorable. I post what I want when I want,
If the picky ones don’t like it...so much the better.
I am a grammar nazi myself, though I try to suppress it here. And I know enough Italian to chime in.
But nitpickery can be tedious. I get corrected frequently (on other subjects). It’s only offensive when the correction is actually a difference of opinion presented as correction.
You don’t find much tenderness at an online forum. :)
