It's not a FREAKIN PROTEST WHEN YOU BLOCK THE ROAD AND BLOCK PEOPLE FROM GETTING TO AN EVENT THEY WANT TO GO TO.

The police department should be defunded.
Give it to the local Sheriff and the National Guard.
The Sheriff and the police had to show up because of the worthless police department just sat there and did nothing.
Now that the protesters have been cleared out the local police just showed up with riot gear. Like they did something.

And it drives the base nuts, many of who have come from a great distance and cannot even get in. Sometimes I think if the government cannot take effective action, maybe the base should be turned loose to start cracking heads.
They haven't been cleared out. There are still people in the middle of the road. Maybe they'll go away if they're asked politely.
So, far they are getting the job done...and noone was serious hurt...don’t see the problem. Don’t want the protest to escalate (like they just said)

What is the main objective of the police? Looks like its to keep the vans in good condition. They didn’t want any dents made on the vans if they just pushed them out of the way.
