Dear Governor DeSantis,
What is missing from reports of increased coronavirus cases is the testing details. Such as: Who made the test kits? What do they test? How many false positives? How many hospitalizations and how many asymptotic cases? The number of increased cases means nothing without context.
The reason given for the shutdown was to prevent our hospitals from being overwhelmed. It was always expected that coronavirus would spread through the population. The goal was to slow the spread, not to prevent the spread. The asymptotic spread of the disease is a natural, safe, and effective vaccination.
Unfortunately, the pandemic has been opportunistically taken over by groups variously opposed to the current president. These groups lust for the political power to rule America. And these groups will increase their agitation and violence unless vigorously stopped.
I urge you to stop coronavirus testing. It is being misused. Outside of a hospitalization for acute symptoms it is most probably meaningless. A person testing negative today could be infected tomorrow, while a person testing positive but asymptomatic has very likely aquired natural immunity, which is the stated public health goal. Testing the population for antibodies over a long period will always show an increase as people aquire natural immunity.
I urge you to put a stop to face mask wearing orders. The wearing of face masks by healthy people is not only ineffective but is harmful as it reduces breathing and contributes to fear and uncertainty.
I urge you to lift all restrictions and let Florida get back to work and life. Open the bars, open the restaurants, remove seating and crowd restrictions. People must be responsible for their own health. Let those who are most at risk wear masks or stay home. But stop the economic and social destruction that these public health orders have wrought.
Our public health experts have failed to appreciate the damage they've brought. Their cure is killing the patient.
YEAH !! The only thing we have to fear are facemasks themselves!!!

No, stopping testing is not a good idea. Countering the narrative is what he needs to do.
Excellent letter. I wrote a similar one to him recently. The other point to consider is that CDC requires 2 negative tests after a positive test. Well guess what? They count every positive in the equation, from the same person. I’ve heard it’s very difficult to get back to back negatives so people are testing over and over and each one is counted

If wearing a mask is that harmful, then the healthy, young, masked goons tearing down statues should be having some major health issues that will lessen their strength to pull down a statue.
CDC should issue new guidelines for protestors, looters, arsonists, and vandals to wear triple layers of N95 masks.
