Antifa’s American insurgency: The far-left has perfected the art of rioting
Spectator USA ^ | May 31, 2020 | Andy Ngo

...Antifa are taking actions considered extreme even among their own ranks. On Thursday night in Portland, rioters surrounded a vehicle filled with passengers and shot at it, hitting one person inside. The driver was able to escape but the injured passenger had to go to hospital for treatment. In Oakland, two federal police officers guarding a government building were shot in an ambush drive-by. One was killed and the other has critical injuries. The following day in Seattle, masked antifa militants stole a rifle from a police vehicle before setting it ablaze.

Media, politicians, the public — all of us — have underestimated the training and capability of left-wing extremists, who are united in purpose. All the parts of rioting serve a purpose. Looting and fires destroy local economies. Riots can overwhelm the police and even the military. All of this leads to a destabilized state. America is brave and beautiful. She is not invincible.

The intellectual left - the media, government officials, entertainers, the public schools, academia - have been fueling these riots with their false claims that America is racist from top to bottom, and always will be.

A handful of tragic incidents - rare exceptions to the rule - are allowed to define what this country is, and they trigger violence and mayhem far out of proportion to the their own evil. The death of George Floyd was not the cause of this mayhem, it was the excuse for it.

Thread

Everybody laugh at @ryangrim

Like all leftist yappers, he has no factual knowledge, and he doesn't understand that @realDonaldTrump said ANITIFA, not AMERICAN Antifa, and he didn't say DOMESTIC terrorist organization.
Antifa is an international organization exactly mirrored by al-Qaeda, which is a loose collection of like-minded groups that share a name.

If Trump designates Antifa an INTERNATIONAL terrorist organization, sit back and watch the fun.
AND.

We also use our international terrorism lass against al-Qaeda AFFILIATES.

Say goodbye to every single black-clad masked anarchist in the country.

And everyone who funds them.
How the term "asset confiscation" sound to Chrissy Teigen, I wonder?

Trump revolutionized the way we deal with pandemics, and now he's turned his attention to his long-term plan to eradicate the people who keep burning down cities.
Ryan Grim has no idea that the feds have been gathering evidence on Antifa for four years.

They wouldn't be doing that unless the plan were BIG.

We know that China funds Antifa.

Governor Walz of Minnesota said that his city was dealing with well-trained FOREIGN terrorists.
The reason it's likely not viable to list American Antifa as urban terrorists is that there are no CHARGES that can be filed.

But if the entire international organization is shown to be a a terrorist group, that's the end of Twitter hosting them.
No more Antifa college professors.

No more John Cusack kissing Antifa ass.

Every single person egging on the destruction gets to FINALLY pay a price.

Why is that a bad thing?

The burning of cities is REAL. not a movie or computer game.
Trump and I are of the same generation.

We're those dreaded "boomers."

For US, there must be a cost associated with malfeasance, regardless of the feeeeeeeeeelings involved.
Burn a city, get put on an international terrorist list.

I've had many brushes with terrorism.

Too many people have to experience something in order to know that it's bad or wrong.

Trump is different. He's seen the elephant in his own way.
As Trump says, let's see what happens.

The professional arsonists were stopped in one night.

Nationwide.

That was a HELL of an operation. It means the arson-stoppers had a plan and rehearsed it.

All the governors had to agree to let it happen.
I'm sure they weren't given details.

But my guess is that a 12-man team could clean a city in one night.

I'm talking trigger pullers.

If they had aerial surveillance platforms and a support team, you bet.

The arsonists were all out and about.

I disagree with the conclusion. These shitheads are only getting away with their “tactics” due to the local authorities standing by and doing basically next to nothing.

We’ll see how well their “tactics” stand up to live rounds coming downrange in their direction. Getting to that point would likely be seen as a failure of their strategy I would think, unless they simply are aiming for bodies in the streets instigating a mass uprising.

“all of us — have underestimated the training and capability of left-wing extremists, who are united in purpose”.

Exactly. This is why for decades and decades no one has been able to crush the Taliban. There isn’t the will to recognize the true nature of the threat. Or, the will to effectively deal with it.
After 9/11 Bush facilitated the escape of influential Saudi’s. Even though it was Saudi Wahabi’s that did this to us. The media asked, what did WE do to make them angry. Bush called them the Religion of Peace.
We are too afraid to be as decisive as necessary to crush the enemies of freedom. Too afraid to be called names. The Leftists have us cowered. Mired down in Political Correctness.
We have simply lost the fight in us as a society to confront and engage these people and crush them and the threat they are. And, they know this. It is why they are so very bold.

Sure seems like the same Govs/Mayors who pushed the absurd and never-ending lockdowns, are the same ones giving their LEOs stand down orders, or who seem to have weakest law *enforcement*.

Hmmmm.

Well, this latest mess began with a protest over a botched arrest of a basehead with a raft of underlying health problems.

Plenty of Liberaltarian FReepers were on board with the “defund the police” narrative, at least until the fires started.

So what’s it going to be, do you think? Sometimes force is needed to maintain the rule of law. For sure, the cops should be carefully scrutinized, but for now, the left has realized that we can’t actually use them to stop the rioting, as that would require “too much force”.

So our cities burn while we watch on twitter.

They look to the militant action groups (Islamist and Communist Revolutionary) of Latin America, Asia, Africa, and the Middle East.

The organizers of riots of the 60s and 70s (and who bombed the Pentagon and other places) became the authority figures of academia and are respected by Ivy League schools.

In the 70s there were thousands of bombings by Leftists in America (and no those weren’t abortion clinics being targeted).

PBS still thinks that these groups had some valid points. SLA, SDS, Weathermen, Black Panthers, and more. Even Jim Jones’ fans took the 40th anniversary of the Jonestown Massacre to wax on about the good things he’d done for the black community.

I can't believe that the US Justice Dept. cannot identify and start rounding up these riot inciters.
Are there no agents working on the inside of these mobs?

Or has the Left effectively neutered them, too?

*** Say goodbye to every single black-clad masked anarchist in the country. ***

It’s really nice of the Antifa guerilla’s to wear an identifiable uniform to the battlefield. Makes the targeting problem that much easier.

I’ve also noticed that during the riots there are numerous “spectators” filming this stuff on their cell phones. I dunno, are they posting this stuff on Twitter, FB? I would presume so. Maybe it’s time to shut down the cell service to the riot areas?

That's why it's called law 'enforcement.'

Antifa has trained/fought with the Kurds in Syria.
You know those Kurds so many on FR support.
