Maybe 50+ years ago, but during the Detroit riots, the suburbanites were armed, ready, and deployed on the north side of 8 mile road (the city limit). The rioting stopped on the south side of 8 mile.
At this point, I think the good guys are far better armed than they were back then, at least in the non-blue states.

perhaps....but that does not excuse the throngs of those choosing to join the chaos and destruction.....and they could certainly step up and stop those leaders....they don’t.
It’s always nice to have a scapegoat to blame just as the mayors are doing now...

It’s really the guilt-ridden WHITES who voted for Obama who are in the midst of a major education right now. They voted for Obama to ‘heal the country’ and all he did was divide it. Now they see Trump, who they also didn’t vote for, bring life back to the black community - and how is thanked, by a Democrat-led get-out-the-vote drive disguised as rioting.
Sure, many whites will still vote out of guilt, but even the Democrats know that it wont be enough, which is why they’re through with black candidates, at least for a generation.

After that famous photo of the Koreans in Los Angeles, and still during the riots there, the cops came by and took their guns - and never returned them. They were TRYING to obey the police and that is what resulted.
But still, we’re talking city cops and anyone who lives in a city, owns property in a city, or owns a business in a city knows full-well (or sure as hell should have) that their ONLY recourse during times of ‘social unrest’ is to simply run for their lives. We may not like it, but that’s been this country for the past 50 years and it’s not changing any time soon, given who the locals vote for.

If you’ve got people from the Yugoslavia civil wars there, it would not be very smart for residents of LaHood to challenge them - they sure as hell know how to fight.
Dumb ass doesn’t understand that burning down empty buildings downtown will not be the same as going door to door in the neighborhoods...
Even the Japs in WW2 new back then to expect a gun behind every blade of grass if they trued to invade the US.
