As states, cities, and towns are slowly moving to reopen, many are issuing mandatory face mask orders requiring the public to wear a face mask when not in their homes or cars (or in an open air area). This, as you might expect, is not going over very well. At all.
In fact, Ohio Governor Mike DeWine (R) acknowledged Sunday that he is reversing his order that all people in Ohio wear face masks while shopping because it “was just a bridge too far.”

At least 90 per cent of face masks don’t offer any protection at all. Bad fit, wrong material, virus may be on the outside of mask and disposed improperly, on and on.
I have put Epsom salts on my garden for a few years. My sister does, too. I threw some on some plants before the big rain we received the other day and my peony bushes grew overnight. Just type in Epsom Salts in the search. Hunt around for bargains! I’m a novice gardener. I use the garden mats as well. . .no weeding for this senior.
I don’t know if the following is possible, not being in the T-shirt business:
If I were a T-shirt maker/screen printer, I would make a stencil of sayings in letter sizes that could fit on a mask, such as “I have not and will not wash this mask,” “This mask manufactured by Stalin Enterprises,” “First a mask. Next a burqa,” and put them on extra extra large T-shirts, back and front, such that one T-shirt would have the sayings repeated on about six different parts of the shirt, each of which could be cut out by a person who knows how to cut fabric and sew.
Then I would market them to seamstresses for them to make and sell masks.
If I were a seamstress, I would buy them and sell them outside a Menards in a state that mandates masks.
I am most forgot about that little change in tune. But don’t you dare question them, it was to make sure the healthcare people have enough masks first.

Hey now! There’s a difference between masking, and veiling, right? The latter is typically of cultural, rather than medical, importance. In Catholic tradition, veiling is often used to signify something of great potency.
If I’m ever “required” to wear one, I will not. If it’s something I just do, and cops rheeatento arrest me, I’ll pull a stocking over my head. For real. I have one in my car.
Why face masks now after 2 to 3 months?
I am in California and the mayor of LA mandated them but there are still free places in Ventura next door.
Off topic but does anyone know what that “A bridge too far” means or is a reference to? I watched the movie of the same name recently but didn’t catch any refrence there.

Referring to Operation Market Garden in 1944...British, American, and Polish paratroopers would capture bridges in Netherlands...Then British Army troops would use those bridges and go into Northern Germany...
The operation was not a success...The last bridge around Arnhem was not secured by British paratroops...A brige too far...The operation was too ambitious...
