Friday on Fox News Channel, “Fox News Sunday,” anchor Chris Wallace said he did not understand why people were “rallying” behind ex-national security adviser Michael Flynn given he lied to the FBI.
Thursday, President Donald Trump said Flynn has been “essentially exonerated” by new documents unsealed in his criminal case.
Wallace said, “And I was kind of surprised that the President said yesterday, ‘Well, maybe I’ll bring him back to the White House.’ It was the President, before any legal case was brought, who fired Flynn because Flynn had lied about his conversation with the Russian ambassador to the Vice President, Mike Pence.

He continued, “So I’m not quite sure I understand why people are all rallying to Flynn’s case. Did the FBI play hardball? Yeah. Guess what? The FBI plays hardball. And guess what? If you are talking to the FBI, and a lot of lawyers would say don’t talk to them unless you have to, don’t lie.”

When is a lie a lie or is it a statement that is misconstrued.

Flynn must be smeared. Same playbook, just ongoing action. The press is part of the machine that set up the Flynn issue in the first place. Leaks of the Kysliak call, gotcha questions to Pence, etc., is entirely a media creation.
Wallace is a despicable human being. He has no integrity. But then, he is part of the press.

Never talk to the FBI unless the whole encounter is video recorded by your lawyer. Since the FBI does not interview on video, that means never talk to the FBI.
Tell them, “Please send any questions you have, in writing, to my attorney, and he will get back to you.”

Flynn was set up and if that didnt work, they told him his son would be next.. after he lost everything by not crumbling.. he did what they made him bow to .. his son he would not sacrifice...the fbi is lower than a snake... they are a loose canon with too much power.

I used to like Chris Wallace but have been unable to even see his face since the election. He has shown his true colors and is as smarmy as the left and Democrats. He has been dead to me for a long time.
Wallace is among the slimiest of all the Swamp creatures. He simply can’t even comprehend that the facts reveal that Flynn did NOT lie to either the FBI, or to Trump or anyone in his administration.
Simply because the Swamp narrative of the time was that Flynn lied, in Wallace’s simple mind, Flynn forever is a liar. Wallace is just too simple minded to be worthy of any more consideration.

Flynn lied to try to protect his son...whether or not his son should have stood on his own and accounted for his own deeds is another matter.
The FBI is not God and if they are nefarious in their motives than everyone has a duty not to co-operate with them.

Lying to ANYBODY should not be a crime unless it’s under oath.
This business of lying to the FBI being a crime is so offensive.
