The liberal media seem to like ignoring coverage of communist Chinas role in mishandling the coronavirus pandemic. But the media will sometimes praise China as a global leader. Prominent Twitter conservative personality, SpectatorUSA contributor, former Fox News contributor and podcast host Stephen L. Miller (@redsteeze) is having none of it. NBC News published an outrageous story headlined As U.S. struggles to stem coronavirus, China asserts itself as global leader. The sub-headline was just as terrible: Beijings push for global leadership is able to get so much tailwind by virtue of the relative absence of any U.S. leadership, one foreign affairs expert said.

The Ministry of Propaganda is worse than Pravda ever was.
It is inescapable that China will be blamed for the coronavirus by history.
The dangers of “wet markets” have been well known and China has been told numerous times of the risks they present. In fact, they are generally accepted to be the source of many epidemics that have afflicted the world recently. China refused to shut them down and here we are.
China tried to hide the pandemic from the world and its own citizens. They also refused outside experts for no good reason that I can see beyond their own internal politics. This prevented nations from restricting travel and containing the virus to its point of origin. They fudged the numbers in collusion with the WHO who has kissed their ass at every turn.
Despite all of this (and likely more), they now attempt to blame the US for their pandemic.
If you have studied China and it’s incredible booming infrastructure buildout it’s obvious that the last thing they could want to tolerate is a decrease in the cash flow they have become addicted to. They have become as mainlined on cash flow as the worst capitalist around. It makes sense that they would hide the virus because of that but it’s not realistic for them to do so. But they did. And, it would make no sense for them to weaponize a virus against the US because while they can tolerate Trump kicking them in the ass a little they could not tolerate a radical reduction in cash flow.
I suspect that there already are a lot of dead Chinese and more to come but not from the virus....
I agree with you that it was not “intentional”, but we should ALL be very angry with China over how this was handled.
This Gingrich op-ed lays out the timeline. Change any one of the events prior to the Jan 7th date and this is far different in the rest of the world.

They covered it up. They refused access to the disease to world health officials or to even release what they knew about the virus. They caused this to be far worse than it would have been.
Trump should pass an executive order banning travel to any nation that allows or tolerates wet markets. Period. This would be leadership because as this article and many others states - these markets are the incubators for SARS viruses.
This practice must be stopped and such an action places the blame clearly on China and other nations that allow such markets which are the perfect vectors for pandemics.
Consider for a second that all of this likely started from one vendor selling diseased bats for a soup. Crazy.
Look for such an order from Trump in the near future along with additional orders dictating domestic manufacture for key industries such as pharmaceuticals and other health care products.
Yet all these global organizations like WHO and the U.N. will do nothing, because they are worthless organizations.
Trump will name them and shame them. Book it. He is a real leader who first quietly ask another leader to do something. When they refuse he goes public.
I fully expect Trump to go public because if Xi issued such an order now it would cause him to lose face as people will logically connect the dots. The American people should be getting angrier each day about how/why this pandemic occurred that has led to such a massive loss of wealth, increased debt, and most tragically the death of thousands.
Stopping the wet markets is essential to public health not just in Wuhan, China, but here in everytown USA. It is the right thing to do. Such an order by Trump will also place the blame directly where it belongs - on the Chinese government. It will force attention onto the issue of wet markets, the numerous warnings given to China about the practice, and the coverup and attempt to deny the pandemic by the communist party.
Trump has NEVER missed a chance to kick China firmly in the nuts. In fact, it is usually preceded by public comments about what a great guy Xi is and how good they get along as his wingtip is gearing up to deliver the blow. He just complimented him today......
Ah yes, the ever fungible expert, anonymous but expert because the writer affirms the expertise. Well, shall I tell one and all what NBC can do with this valueless expert? But I can not without being deleted, so I will let the gentle reader read between the lines!
