Prayers for Baby Colt, it is not unusual for premmies to have breathing issues, as long as they are closely monitored it tends to work out as they grow.

Apnea episodes are not unusual for a preemie; my granddaughter, born at 32 weeks, had them. She weighed 2lbs. 2 and 1/2 ounces. She spent five weeks in the NICU at Miami Valley Hospital in Dayton OH
Incidently, she will be 17 years old this coming Wednesday, and she towers over me by several inches.
Praying for Colt and the family.

Sometimes kids are born with the hole in their heart because it’s there to bypass their fetal lungs which have no access to oxygen. It usually close at birth. Sometimes it’s slow.
I bet this little one does OK.
