After had read Chris Kyle’s book, I question how a former Seal could be wounded by people who are known to wear Pussy Hats.
From the story it sounds like he faced multiple attackers. He obviously gave as good (or better) as he got.
They ain’t Superman. 6 on 1 ain’t good odds no matter who you are. That being said, I’m betting that Gilliam was doing more to restrain himself and protect the women, then going on offense to fight the PussyHats.
As we both know, if he had throat chopped a few and broke some noses, the whole thing would be how he assaulted, without provocation, 6 quiet unassuming men, who were minding their own business. And that’s an unfortunate reality.
