I believe this is called the “Sixth Trumpet War” in the book of Revelations. One third of all mankind will be destroyed in this war. For this prophesy to be fulfilled it will likely go nuclear quickly.

I agree, but a nuclear weapon does not need to hit people to be effective. Think about a nuclear blast in the upper atmosphere where all it does is take out the Satellites at that level and the resulting EMP takes out the electric grid over all the US. No communication... No electricity... Cell phones out immediately.. Add to that the setup of the Food System Collpase and a great number die of natural causes. Prophecy indicates there will be a man-made chastisement followed by a Godly chastisement if man does not repent.
