Which Of These 5 Names Should I Use For My Handyman Business?

I have decided to start my own handyman business. I am currently doing odd jobs for people, but I want to make it official and thus I need to get a good business name while legally getting all my ducks in a row.

In the state of Idaho, I only need to be certified if I do plumbing or electrical. If I get a request for plumbing or electrical work I have friends who are certified that have agreed to work with me on those jobs.

I am in the process of getting a business license by the state, and will soon be bonded for $3000.00. This week I will open a business bank account, but I need a good name.

I already have business cards, (image below) I made with my computer. I also made a flyer (image below) that I have in many stores in towns throughout the County I live in. So far I have been getting good responses and I am actually getting more jobs than I expected.

My last name being Ness, gives me a good start for a catchy name. I have come up with 5 names I am considering.

Please help me by choosing which of the following names you think would be best. Mind you, I will be using this name for as long as my business is profitable

Helpful-Ness Handyman Services

NESS HANDYMAN SERVICES

Ness For Less Handyman Services

NESS Handyman Express

Handi-Ness Services

For obvious reasons I omitted the complete phone number and email address for this post

Ness Handyman Express

It’s memorable and implies that you are going to show up faster than the competition. In my area that would be a reason NOT to question a little extra cost.

I agree with americas.best.days, avoid the word “Less”.

Best of luck! Let us know what you decide.

For a real tongue-twister, try Mess-Less Ness Express!

Better just stick to the common sense one: NESS HANDYMAN SERVICES

Make sure to always include your name “Chuck Ness” along with the slogan. Don’t make people figure it out.

You WILL take stupid people’s money too, right?

Too bad your first name isn’t Elliot!

Idaho laws are pro small business and very pro on handymen businesses.

For a true contractors license the requirements are more than I have time to deal with.

Besides, I am not interested in hiring crews for large jobs.

As my slogan will always say,

40years experience fixing problems don’t have time for.

Most contractors do not have time for many things the home owner themselves can do but has no time to do them. Which insinuates small jobs

NESS Handyman Express. Nice rhyme. Less gimmicky than some of the others.

I actually thought of a flyer targeting single Moms who need small jobs done because they have no man to do them.

However, then need to be careful for those looking to sue a guy for something I never did, but they want to make a quick buck. In todays “Me Too” society, I need to be carefull.
