These types of cries of anguish sadden me; umbrage and outrage as the pitiful fist waves at Leviathan. It's a terrible tragedy to live one's life under the illusion of fantasy, only to finally have the truth revealed in all its ugly glory.

What the author and so many other 100s of millions of Americans who are not financially secure fail to realize is the allure and addiction once achieved. As the saying goes, they'd sell out their own mothers for a chance at the golden ring. The lack of worry, of concern over bills, the almost mundanely routine decisions about homes, clothing, vacations, what to eat, where to send junior to school, etc are all the purview of those firmly ensconced within government.

To imagine Sh!t is working independently, as if he's some kind of lone wolf gone rogue is utterly ridiculous. Rather, Sh!t is merely a proxy for a literal army of millions who are all directly/indirectly supporting his efforts. Consider the allegory of the cave: Sh!t is the shadow. Those who are clueless may imagine one man standing alone outside, yet those with a broader & deeper understanding of human nature, history and government know the shadow we're seeing is but a mere flat representation of vast forces marshaled against Trump.

Sh!t's not the problem - he's simply the visible tip of the spear. Focusing one's wrath on such a singular target simply says more about the persons holding those opinion rather than presenting any unique insight or understanding.

Anyway, the subject of he said/she said is all rather boring. What those in the know are really waiting for is to see when/if Trump acts. If he doesn't, then we resume the trajectory set in 1988. (Or, maybe dialing all the way back to 1963.) Was it that bad? Perhaps only in contrast of what so many thought might be attainable with Trump; but realistically, a defeat of liberty that many can come to accept.

You know the rent is in arrears,
The dog has not been fed in years,
it’s even worse than it appears,
but it’s alright.
