I have not seen a blog post about this fascinating piece. Is the secretary of state getting nervous about the attorney general's "review?" It is interesting how Pompeo's anonymous advocates address a non-issue instead of the real one: CIA's precise role in Operation Crossfire Hurricane. There is no mention of whether Mike "grilled" Gina, et al about that subject.

The will be a difference between a Pompeo grilling and a Bull Durham
grilling. One grilling was not under oath. The coming grilling WILL be under
oath.

BS hypocrites. Not long ago the left considered the Agency the Devil incarnate? Now they’re carrying the Agency’s water. Durham wants to know “Where’s the proof that supported your assessment?” We know it was a Brennan made up hoax with the seals clapping along.

Are the Russians doing anything different than they always do during elections?
To: James Thomas; All
But the wide latitude he’s given Durham to also examine analytic conclusions drawn by CIA officers has alarmed some in the national security community who worry about its effect on the apolitical nature of intelligence gathering. And given Pompeo’s prior review — not to mention that of Mueller and Congress — the move has sparked cries of hypocrisy from those who say Trump is seeking his own “do-over,” something the president frequently accuses Democrats of attempting with their ongoing congressional hearings on the subject and mounting subpoenas of Mueller’s witnesses. The leakers in the CIA are worried.

Of course Pollutico doesn't see the complete disconnect on why Putin would want DJT as president.
If clinton had been elected he would have had her by the short hairs over Uranium One at the very least.
Donald was an unknown quantity.
