Yes. In the early 70s I saw the movie on TV with Carroll O’Connor and Cloris Leachman as John and Mary. I don’t remember the song you mention, but I hear another lyric from time to time “Of thee I sing, Baby. Summer, autumn, winter, spring, Baby.”

Not sure if I saw that T.V. show or not, but was part of that show, when I we did it when I was in college.

The "WINTERGREEN FOR PRESIDENT" song is his campaign song and mostly consists of repetition of "Wintergreen for president..." over and over again, with people people marching around the stage holding signs.

The score, unlike much of Gerwhin's other work is NOT really all that memorable, nor any song a "classic" standard.
