Report: Trump Peace Plan Proposes Resettling Million Palestinians in Jordan, No Two-State Solution

A report in Arab media stated the President Trump’s long-awaited Middle-East Peace plan includes resettling up to one million Palestinians in Jordan in exchange for $45 billion in development projects.

Al-Akbar, an Arabic-language news service based in Beirut, reported on Friday that Jordanian King Abdullah II agreed to the condition during his last visit to Washington. In addition, Israel would reacquire land in Tzofar, a town in the Arava desert, and Naharayim, where Jordan conquered in 1948 the Island of Peace and a hydroelectric power-plant that belonged to Israel. Israel currently leases the land however it is officially part of Jordan. Jordan would receive an equivalent amount of land from Saudi Arabia. Jordan will retain a supervisory status over the Muslim holy sites in Jerusalem.

Jordan will also assimilate one million Palestinians from Israel in exchange for $45 billion in investments from Saudi Arabia and other Gulf states. For comparison, Jordan’s entire Gross Domestic Product (GDP) is only $40 billion. The absorption of the new Palestinian citizens will take place in stages, the first stage composed of approximately 300,000 people.

According to the report in Al-Akhbar, King Abdullah told Egyptian officials that the American plan is for a confederation of the Palestinian Authority, Jordan and the Israeli Civil Administration in Judea and Samaria.

The report also said that Egypt will permit Palestinians free entry via the Rafah crossing, to work legally in industrial zones in Egypt, and to pursue a track to Egyptian citizenship. Egypt would be compensated with $65 billion of projects in the northern Sinai.

Lebanon will award citizenship to the approximately 450,000 Palestinian refugees and their descendants in their country on condition they do not seek a return to Israel.

The plan significantly does not provide for establishing a Palestinian state inside the borders of Israel.

I wonder what the King of Jordan thinks of that? Isn’t he the one that didn’t want them back?

“Trump Peace Plan Proposes Resettling Million Palestinians in Jordan, No Two-State Solution”

If you do the math, that is a two-state solution. Bringing Egypt in would make it a 3-state solution.

The second sentence:
"Al-Akbar, an Arabic-language news service based in Beirut, reported on Friday that Jordanian King Abdullah II agreed to the condition during his last visit to Washington."

Interesting, if true.

We do know from other news leaks that President Trump and his son-in-law Jared have already had detailed negotiations with the Saudis, Egyptians, and Jordanians, and that these were part of building the foundation for his "Deal of the Century."

My opinion is that they great stumbling block will be that the Fakestinians never really wanted a "homeland", a "state", or anything of the kind. The whipped up blind hatred among the Fakestinians and their blood thirsty Muslim sponsors was always about hatred of the Jews and an effort to prevent them from living in their God given land in Israel.

An interesting thing to consider in all of this is what the borders of Israel are as deemed by God in Genesis 15:18–21, Exodus 23:31, Numbers 34:1–15, Deuteronomy 1:6–8, 11:24 and Joshua 1:4.

I’m shocked the King agreed to this. The last time there were large number of palis in Jordan they repaid his hospitality by trying to murder his entire family. That was in 1972.

The Jordanian Army drove them into the West Bank at gunpoint. It’s where the Black September movement got their name.

Very good points, as well as history.

I am not sure why Jordan seemingly will step up. God's plan? They really want the money?

Interesting to see where all this leads.

“I am not sure why Jordan seemingly will step up. God’s plan? They really want the money?”

I don’t know. But the palis have only gotten more radical since 72. I don’t see them agreeing to this at all. It will take military force to get them to move. Then Jordan will be stuck with a million pissed of savages in their country.

Interesting is one way to put it.

Trump will finally solve the Israel-“Palestine” conflict by sending a million “Palestinians” to Jordan.

In exchange, Jordan gets a Trump hotel, casino, and luxury condos.

Totally Trumpian.

Getting one million out, but what happens to the other 3.5 million or so? Have the toddlers given that any thought?

The “Fakestinians” as you put them only used the people as bait to amass billions in aid. Which was supposed to go to the people. Instead, most of it went into the pockets and bank accounts of their leadership. It’d be nice to see some research of just how much Arrafat was worth when he died. Some estimate that he was a billionaire. Sure, he looked like he just woke up from his refrigerator box when he was in public, I’d love to know the life he really led.

Of course, they’re all the same. Look at when the US and others pour money at a solution. The leaders rob the kitty blind and let the people fight for the scraps. No different here, and probably not worse, than any place in Africa or South America.

Yep. After a coup attempt in the 70’s the Jordanian Hashemite regime killed 5000 palestinian extremists and kicked most of the rest out.

Israel should have carried out this plan in 1967 when it was politically doable i.e. push the Arabs out of the West Bank into Jordan and those in Gaza into Sinai. By 1972 it might have brought unbearable sanctions, perhaps military action, against Israel.

Interesting stuff.

Plenty of Palestinians work daily for Israeli companies or are employed, farming etc right now, but it seems a third of them are unemployed or unwilling to work.

https://www.indexmundi.com/g/g.aspx?c=we&v=74

1)Annex Everything: Gaza, West Bank, the works.

2)Near free rent for those who are working or gainfully, legally employed.

3)If you or your teenage son get caught pitching rocks or worse at Israeli soldiers or police the whole family get a one way ticket to Jordan.

4)Evict most if not all of the UN and NGOs out of Israel. Your meal ticket is now in Jordan, Lebanon, Egypt, etc.
