Barron is a wonderful lad I’m sure, but he doesn’t strike me as football material. My daughter was sad that #1 son seemed to lack athletic ability, but #2 is a real brawler, so I said: look here’s your linebacker!
My brother lived to be 76, but his cause of death is listed as the HS football injury which affected his whole life.It was a pure accident with no malevolent intent involved - as the game film clearly showed. Collision between two people neither one of whom was trying to do what happened. One lost his balance, the other wasn’t even looking in that direction.
Exceptional case, yes - but there it is.
Both of my kids were such awesome athletes that they both ended up in the marching band.
