At some point shortly, by law in the UK....food portions at fast-food shops...will be set to a calorie amount. If you walk into a Burger King and order the Double Whopper, it’ll be limited to roughly 850 calories. The present Double Whopper is 900 calories. So something....maybe the meat, the bun or the sauce....will have to be decreased, for them to sell it to you.

What’ll happen? Folks will start to carry along additives (bacon, sauce, etc) and add them onto the whopper at the table.

Were the controlling crowd correct? You can look around and admit that we are contributing to our own weight issues, and increasing our chances for problems.

It’s like Triumph, those ‘low tar’ cigarettes which achieve low tar by punching holes in the cigarette paper next to the filter. To compensate, you block the holes with your fingers while drawing on the cigarette. That gets you full tar.

People will get the calories they want even if it means going to multiple eateries.
