If Kavanaugh had been arrested for such a thing back when he was a juvenile, his records would be sealed. And if he had been nominated by Hillary instead of Trump, DyFy and Chuck would be fighting to keep his juvenile records sealed and would be giving the accuser the bimbo treatment.
No law enforcement agency could do anything with the information that she has given so far. Nothing to arrest anyone on. She should go to jail for making a false statement.
Today’s FBI could not be relied upon to do an honest investigation. They could come up with a whole dossier of previously undiscovered contemporary witness statements and physical evidence. It wouldn’t be unprecedented.
I was legal in 1984, 1985, and 1987 (NYS went from 18 to 19 for a year, then that year to 21, without grandfathering).
