In 1976, the national protest candidate was Carter.
Brennan voted communist. The CIA was fine with that and he rose through the ranks. The rational conclusion is obvious. Globalism is communist, and the CIA protects globalism.
In fact, beside Carter as a protest against Ford, there were 10 other protest/fringe candidates and parties on Brennan's presidential ballot that day, for those who wanted to protest both major parties. That included the perennial "protest candidate" Eugene McCarthy (on the Independent Party) and yet Brennan rejected them all in favor of Gus Hall & the Communist Party.

The fact that only Communists voted for Gus Hall in 1976 is as obvious now as it was to the CIA of Jimmy Carter & Stansfield Turner when they hired him in 1980.
