Native American can also mean Mexican IIRC.
On my DNA test, my NA included not only American Indian but Mexican.

This would not surprise me in the least. It’s my understanding many of the tribes along the border are pissed off the Mexican/American border prevented some in those tribes from being American because of where they were when the borders were being made. That includes the descendent’s of those tribal members.
A lot of Southern tribes look more Mexican than Native American.

Now as for your Mexican DNA, not all Mexicans are native Americans since the Spaniards were there in large numbers and inter-married native Mexicans.
Ah heck, we all trace back to Olduvai Gorge in Africa, so we can all call ourselves Africans as well.
