I think he's trying to see if it will work its way through the normal "chain of command". If this last effort by Gowdy, et al, doesn't work, I think you may just see him step in saying enough is enough, and force the FBI and DOJ to release the documents. The best part of all of this: Showing what a lying, incompetent, SOB, Obama really is.

A week ago, Gowdy said that Monday June 18 was the drop-dead date for the document release. He said, if the documents are not released on Monday, then on Weds June 20 he was going to unleash hell.
And here it is, Friday June 22, and Gowdy is - once again — promising to unleash hell.

Because it would be up to him and his staff to redact anything that subverts national security or outs any operations and assets, and they are not in the normal business of doing that. If he doesn’t do it, then the media and the political opportunists will jump alllllll over the gotcha they would get out of it.

I’ll take a stab at it:
1. It is the job of congress.
2. Watching the legislative stumble, bumble, and trip over their words and deeds lends credence to the executive.
3. POTUS sees the circus and wants the citizenry to recognize it also.

The only rational cure for this nonsense in DC is to shrink the Federal Government and divest it from the DC swamp. Every department headquarters should be moved OUT of DC and spread around the country.

The hatred is full of murderous intentions and, as Rush said, people are going to get hurt just as the left wants. I ask, what will happen then? Will real Americans stop the madness before it culminates in Civil War? Only justice for those who have lied and tried to overturn our government will do to calm this situation. My opinion.
