California and the Hate List
The Coach's Team ^ | 6/21/18 | Michael Bruno

I generally am an upbeat guy, always trying to look on the bright side... I generally try to stay optimistic, empathetic, give everyone the benefit of the doubt and am generally quick to forgive when I'm slighted, etc., etc. But my recent visit to California, where I was forced, among other indignities, to endure the prattle of a queer communist bastard (my sister's best friend) explaining how "...we just have to tax the rich until there ARE no more rich... it's just what we have to do," at the Olive Garden--when I was paying the tab--has caused me to ruminate about all of the things that I hate. So I started this list. To get it off my chest, so to speak.

Everyone should feel free to add to this list.

1.I hate communism, socialism, and economic liberalism in all of its forms.

2.I hate "identity politics," and the new value placed on hypersensitivity awareness to coddle the fragile snowflakes and protect them from micro-aggressions, while their ilk carries out macro-aggressions on the rest of us.

3.I hate the de-valuation of all the things in our magnificent western culture and our masterful US constitution that made us great and elevated us far above the 3rd world.

4.I don't hate homosexuals, per se. I think that a person's sexual orientation is their own private business--and they should absolutely keep it to themselves! Like that commie prick Pope Francis, I don't feel that I'm in a position to judge anyone (that's for G*d alone). But I do hate "Gay Pride" people, who feel compelled to continuously shove their perversions in my face and expect to be admired for them! They make me want to vomit.

5.I hate affirmative action, and all forms of racism, sexism, and neo-genderism. I am outraged when merit is put aside in the service of "diversity" and where the content of one's character and mind are made less important than the color of their skin or their external genitalia.

6.I hate sanctimonious, narcissistic, self-aggrandizing liars and bullshitters.

7.I hate self-satisfied moral lepers who are proud of their abominable behavior--moral lepers should have some sense of shame and at least have the decency to try to hide their sociopathy. Vile behavior that victimizes other people (thievery, prevarication, violence and other deadly sins) are not badges of honor to be boasted about. They are shameful.

8.I hate stupid, dull people who think they're brilliant and interesting and won't shut up.

9.I hate shallow, vapid people who haven't a clue... but still won't shut up.

10.I hate those who believe their tiny speck of dust is the very center of the universe.

In short, I pretty much hate everything about California except for the weather. The weather is nice.

All that hate simply takes too much effort and causes stress. I’ll ignore it when I can, oppose or fight it when I can’t ignore it, but I’ll try to strictly limit the hate in my heart.

I grew up in California and I am now blessed to live in the free state of Wyoming.

And I agree with EVERYTHING you said about California and the scumbag human detritus that have turned California into an abomination.

1. Socialism and it’s cousin communism

2. Cultural Marxism which is pretty much everything you described....ie the attack on Western Values.....and I’m a very libertarian leaning “live and let live” kind of guy who is prepared to tolerate lots of things cultural conservatives would not accept even though those things are not my cup of tea personally.

3. Identity politics

4. Globalism....no I don’t CARE how it’s done in Europe....yes I know probably a lot better than you do (sycophantic Leftist Yurp wannabe). I’ve lived there in 4 different countries. I’ve seen it first hand. I prefer American culture.

LOL, that is a pretty good list there...I feel much the same way about just about every one of them!

Good job!

Homosexuality is one-I don’t hate homosexuals, I hate homosexuality and what its vocal proponents are trying to do. I view homosexuality as a sexual peccadillo, it is their own business and they should keep it that way. I just don’t care. They will eventually answer to God, and that is their business.

I hate that radical leftists are so utterly disgusting and obnoxious that we have no choice but to hate them back . . . because they hated us first.

Good piece. Thanks for posting

“Commie prick, Pope Francis”

Might be over the top, but not today.

He will still be Pope no matter where you live. We had a good Pope in Benedict, but not good enough for the college of Cardinals. So don’t expect the Church to change anytime soon.

There are some fine people that live in California, in fact a lot of them; but the obscene chalk-on-the-board screaming of the few and the famous seem to overwhelm the goodness of the regular hardworking citizens.

Of those fine people, one concentration of them is at Camp Pendleton, where my great-grandson, his Marine Dad, and fine Christian mother (my granddaughter) are living nearby. Another might be Coronado Island. There has to be a lot of other areas also, where the conservative mind can find a little peace.

In my years as creator of electronic materials for the microcircuit business, I have spent a lot of time with the customers there from San Diego to Santa Barbara. I didn't find any of them to be of the kind of character you described. A lot of them are dedicated entrepreneurs that are living the American dream, creating wealth and jobs, despite the political environment.

However, they all seem to be having to swim upstream against the crap generated by the negative classes in that state. There especially is where there ought to be a wall along the southern border allowing NO one to cross from Mexico. Of course, that concept is totally unrealistic.

The initial response to your “soak the rich” acquaintance should be: (1) who do you define as “rich;” and (2) you do realize, don’t you, that most of the rich are fairly mobile, and that it’s easy enough to incentivize them to move elsewhere. And they will. But what will you do then, after high achievers and business leaders have fled?

I would tell your sister’s “queer commie” friend a personal experience that was quite a, I HATE this smarmy phrase, teachable moment for me. One summer yrs ago I worked as a go fer at a parts store. One of our regular customers was the local go to guy when it came to German cars. I only knew him by his nickname, Sputnik. We called him that because yrs earlier he, his wife and then newborn son escaped E Berlin just as the wall was going up. If socialism/marxism/communism is such a wonderful utopia of sunshine lollipops and rainbows everywhere then why was that damn wall built in the first place? To keep the Mexicans out?

You would find similarly decent people in Central
California farming communities and independent minded
folks in the Sierra Nevadas and Northern California.
Your post is much closer to the truth than the thread.

The problem with communism is, with each passing generation of useful idiots that come and go it needs to be repackaged and marketed as something new and REVOLUTIONARY. A lot like those sleazy late night infomercials and “free lunch” seminars pushing the same old get rich quick scams as new ways to achieve instant wealth and financial independence. Like buying real estate with no $$$ down. Making a killing in stocks regardless of market conditions. Investing thousands in the latest snake oil while building a downline or some other unworkable pyramid racket. They’ll tel you that other systems failed because they were implemented wrong by the wrong people but THEY have a proven system that works. (those 4 deadly words) THIS TIME IT’S DIFFERENT! And gullible fools like your sister’s queer commie friend, like the hippies and yippies before them, fall for this crap like so many brainwashed little puppies.

The ten things hated by the author can be found
anywhere in the country. No doubt that an extremely
high concentration of weirdos are found in California
but, then, many of these originated in places other
than California. This state provided President Trump
with 4.5 million votes which was more votes than all
but 2 other states.

The thing that I hate are those who make blanket asshat
statements without ever acknowledging the exception.

“#9 covers about 99% of California.”

So says a poster freely engaging in a nice bit of
hyperbole who doesn’t bother to list their own location
which is often a sign of someone who is willing
to dish it out but never to risk taking it.

“I think that a person’s sexual orientation is their own private business—and they should absolutely keep it to themselves!”

But that’s the problem. And this is why homosexual acts were called capital offenses in the both the Old and New Testaments.

(It is NOT my interpretation of the Bible that, under existing circumstances, homosexuals should be executed. There are many capital crimes for which God has extended mercy.)

When society tolerates sin, it soon becomes normalized. Then what was once the norm is punished.

Homosexuality got a foothold based on the moral lie of “consenting adults”. This lie presupposes that sexual acts only affect the individuals engaged in them.

The idea of privacy, or secrecy, as being the basis for what is allowed and not allowed is flawed. We all have a right against unreasonable searches. This does not exempt specific behavior. We can not murder simply because we are murdering in the privacy of our own homes.

Homosexual acts are destructive to society. And we are witnessing the PROOF of this firsthand. They are also destructive to families, children, and even the individual adults who engage in these acts.

It is impossible for homosexual sex to be approved on the basis of “privacy” and it not infect public society with its consequences. It will manifest itself in homosexual “community” with social efforts to find sex partners. Because it is intrinsically deviant, it leads to greater and greater deviancy. Homosexuals today already have access to children, and society is ignoring this.

The NAZI movement was essentially a homosexual movement, at least among the leaders. This is documented in The Pink Swastika, which is accessible for free online as a downloadable PDF.

Sexual deviancy desensitizes those engaged in it so that they may become capable of doing insidious and inhumane acts to other human beings.

Civilization can not exist with the acceptance and tolerance of homosexual acts. This always, throughout history, has led to societal collapse. And if it were possible for society to adapt and find a way to cope with the damaging impacts of this perversion, God Himself has declared His wrath against it and that He will destroy with fire all those cities that embrace this perversion.

God’s wrath is being held back for a little longer in order to save the lost, so that God’s “house may be full”. After this, destruction is coming on the world—fire poured out from Heaven as it was upon Sodom.

Don’t forget the deserts of eastern California. Twentynine Palms is one of my favorite places in this country. Unlike most Marines I loved that place. The best 3 years of my career were spent there. I had the opportunity to move there recently when the company I work for stood up a detachment
there. I decided against it because of California politics.
Maybe someday soon things will change for the better there.
