Love to see the stats on the median age of employees and where the concentrations are. I was in aerospace and back in the day the median age had creeped up at said company, and they were afraid for the knowledge base and future of the company and if it wasn't for the downturn, they would have filled the incoming chute with a lot of fresh talent.
With the Pilot and A & P mechanic shortage looming, I wonder if Lockheed is also looking a huge retirement wave and is trying to fill the ranks, impart goodwill internal knowledge to the youngins from the old farts before the concentrate on their golf swing almost full time...

Where are they going to get cleared personnel?? NBIB failed and the DoD is never been organized. Over 700,000 clearances are still pending.
