For an entire month every four years, the FIFA World Cup dominates the sporting spotlight. And for both diehard or fair-weather soccer fans cheering on their country (or another one if theirs didnt make the cut like the US mens team), its an electrifying four weeks.
Heres what you need to know about the World Cup 2018:

Happy Opening Game Day!
By turning on Wimbledon/Tour de France, then US Open tennis?

For me, I watch it with the TV off. ;-P
I never developed a liking for soccer, but certainly do not begrudge those who find it interesting. I hope the matches are all exciting and interesting.
The U.S., together with Mexico and Canada, just got the World Cup. Congratulations - a great deal of hard work!— Donald J. Trump (@realDonaldTrump) June 13, 2018
How do we know that there isn’t going to be some Russian fix in this Cup?
The whole way that Russia got to host this World Cup in the first place reeks of corruption. In terms of integrity and ethics, FIFA is total joke.
Russia was caught in 2014 with their well-planned doping scheme to cheat at the Olympics. Who says they won’t do it again here?

We will count on you to give us “football” bumpkins an update every few days as to the insider information.
Its a cinch I’m not watching the other “football”.
Here's how to watch the 2018 World Cup....................
Actually, there is nothing I need to know about the totally boring World Cup.
Soccer needs some excitement...Each team needs a designated “slobberknocker” unbeknownst to anyone...They can, at any time during the game “slobberknock” whoever is kicking the ball around...
As opposed to the wonderful Central and South American countries?
The next is in Qatar.
And yet, here you are...
Why bother? I am American and we do not play soccer, only illegal aliens do. Use the event to round me up and deport them.
In general, I like soccer. But this go-around, it’s different. There’s no Team USA to root for.
I’m sure I’ll tune into a few games - but without the enthusiasm I did when the US was playing.
Oh yeah, Qatar is another stellar example of corruption.
Both Qatar and Russia got their host bids approved by FIFA on the same day, by the way. Gee, what a co-incidence.
FIFA and the IOC ... fighting it out to see who can be the bigger group of slimeballs.
