I think when we look back at SR511 declaring McCainiac an NBC what happened was a deal, a deal with the devil. McCainiac was ineligible but it was his "turn" to be POTUS. So the deal was "If you, Zippo, don't challenge my citizenship, I won't challenge yours."

From then on McCainiac spoke highly of Zippo and probably cost him the election in '12 because he was too easy on the Kenyan. But once you make that deal you can't go back because you violated the Constitution in doing so and you can't admit that now. So NO ONE on either side is going to expose that little secret now or ever.

Interesting also is the lack of Birtherism from either party towards Trump. Only the MSM was calling him out on that for the most part.

I’m seeing a lot in the media, though not on FOX.

There has been a revival of birther attacks on Trump on CNN and MSNBC lately by the usual suspects. Matthews, especially always goes back to that to “prove” that Trump has always been a “racist” at heart. “This is how he got his start in GOP politics after being a NY Democrat most of his life...” goes the narrative.
