Methinks it is safe to assume that ANYTHING getting a billboard award in the last 20 or so years is the essence of excrescence.

I think it’s equally safe to say that neither of the following bands will be on the billboard award list, or in the R&RHOF either, though they definitely would in my book.

I haven't seen any music awards shows since the 80’s.. about the time rock died. Went to the rock and roll hall of fame int he 2000’s and quickly realized it had very little to do with true music appreciation, i stead it was a money and political machine. RUN-DMC in the R&R HOF was enough to turn me off.
