I read this sentence several times.

I doubt he’s one of the herd loving subtypes, as those are probably demographically rare and limited to certain folks and clergy out of those communities.
That said, Taqiyya is not trivial. It extends all the way up to the OIC and how it adopts non-colloquial definitions of different words according to Sharia, and that in this way a Muslim official can say with full honesty thing that non-Muslims who’ve got their heads shoved up their cans will predictably misunderstand.
That it is why it is important that you examine this guy’s words with the distrust and cynicism needed to approach Islam as safely as possible. That why in my other post I said his comment would mean different things if coming from a non-Muslim Leftist or a Muslim.

My point is, the guy is brilliant, a tea party regular, common sense conservative. Sadly PDJT has endorsed Bill Schutty. Perhaps the Senator being in the Cruz camp has something to do with this.
IMHO he is the better man that anyone else running on both sides of the isle.
