Outside of a low white cell count (~3,000), blood came back OK. Gastro wasn’t concerned about the low blood count.

My husbands was not elevated either.

They did a CAT and rushed him into surgery just a tad late. His appendix burst while they were bagging it.

Then his white blood cell went up.

Get a CAT.

You do NOT want to spend sixteen days in the hospital with a drain in your side.
