A good chance of Korea
Jun 1950 come again. The late LTC T R Ferhenbach’s ‘This Kind of War’ and Roy Appleman’s books spell out the brutal drama of Korea 1950-51 in excruciating and grimly fascinating detail.

I remember that my Dad had that book! (”This Kind Of War”) I don’t know what happened t it, though. He passed away in 1970, but his book was still on a shelf in the storeroom of our old house.

The Army in Korea in 1950 nearly broke, was pushed all the way back to Pusan (the one yard line before the ocean).

And those MEN of 1950 were 100X tougher than today’s Army of sissified softies, gays, and girls.

God help us.
