I had a pretty big local reaction to it in my arm (redness and swelling) - but everybody I know who has had shingles says it’s the worst pain ever.
Exactly. I have worked with patients who have had it, and my mother had one of the worst cases they had ever seen...as soon as I was eligible, I got it.
No questions about it. I don’t want shingles. Ever.
What gunthere said is true. I have a close friend that is Dr in pain management. They recommend that people get nerve killing surgery to stop the pain from a shingles attack. It is awful.
FWIW I had the shot three years ago with no side effects.
