If Congress overrides it, he does not need to sign it. It becomes law at that point. If he vetoes it, at least he is sticking to his guns.
The standing Army is a domestic threat at this point. Starve it. Fund the Navy and defund the Army.

What would those “events” be?
I can't say you are wrong and have advocated the same for years on here.
But the situation here is different. It was the Republican side of the isle that was standing for Trump during the State of the Union speech, the Democrats that were sitting and scowling.
On the budget, Rand Paul has it right when he says the Democrats want to cut nothing and the Republicans what to cut next to nothing. In other words, neither party is being responsible.
Signing this piece of crap is not why he was sent there.
If he turns his back one me, he can expect me to turn my back on him.
Veto this. Make them override his veto. If he signs this into law, it belongs to him as much as it belongs to them. It’s a trap.

This budget allegedly expires in six months. If so Trump has the option at that time, right before the election to tell the borrow,print and spend GOP and the borrow,print, tax and spend Dems not this time.
Trump got his military spending at the expense of everything else, including the border wall. If he veto’s in October all hell will break loose with the congress. I am not holding my breath, very disappointed in Trump, but six months from now he has painted himself into a corner, veto and shutdown or throw in with the establishment.
