Thats my current choice. I have very nice pinned/recessed S&W’s but I don’t want to give a cop or some shit eating city smelter a piece of my collection. As to a semi with “one in the pipe” deal me out. I’d rather err on the side of safety. The odds of a throwdown where you don’t have time to rack a slide or flick off a safety are extremely long.
I like the reliability factor of revolvers. I don’t really see that a double action revolver is really any safer to carry than a semi-auto with one in the pipe - keep your finger away from the trigger and you should be OK in either instance. Also, use a holster that completely covers the trigger and trigger guard.
