When have they said “this immorality is important?” Do you mean with the POTUS themself or society in general?
There was a time not too long ago when moral preening and finger pointing was coin of the realm for men like Jerry Falwell, Ralph Reed and the like. Bill Clinton was hammered mercilessly for his consensual sexcapades. They even called their club the Moral Majority. You don't hear it from them much now. Partly, I think because Trump is in office, but mostly because their influence in on the wane and they are trying to salvage what little political juice the have left. The sooner these preaches are off the scene, the better.
