Fort Knox is good if you dont cheap out and by the lowest priced ones with 10 or 11 guage steel. You need at least 3/19” and 1/4” is better.
But you are right. Most Fort Knox safes are built to proper standards, just not the cheapest few like the Maverick and Defender.
The brand doesnt matter, just the specs. Dont buy ones with sides and back no thicker than 2 quarters are when stacked.
I have a safe the 1/4 the size, that I know weight's approx 2000 lb's, (bent a 1/2 ton ram trying to lift it) and is on caster's, (a mover's dolly) and it take's a lot more man power just to move it. It's sitting in my shop, on a level concrete floor, and you don't move it like he did.
Acid from a dead battery is easy to neutralize.
Have you actually tried it? Good luck on getting it all!
There are better sources of pH-neutral mass, including bags of sand. Much cheaper too.
