Do they define what a journalist is? Because we are all posting our comments, we are technically bloggers...and as such we are journalists.

These are *not* ‘journalists’, even less so ‘news organizations’. They are bloviating heads; they speak their OPINION, recite what others have written for them.
News is unfiltered, unbiased, of what is\was\will be happening.
IMO, they should be held to a HIGHER standard for slander/libel, as they inundate MILLIONS of citizens with their ‘reporting’.

Why would anyone want to attack journalists in the first place?
You should read Matt Braken's short story,
What I saw at the Coup. Pretty well put together piece.
And it showed some text added just above her head:
If the media lies, the media dies.
You take a side, you’re along for the ride.
A traitor in front of a camera is still just a traitor.
